We are seeking a passionate and mission-minded licensed counselor to join our dynamic medical team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive, engaging, and fast-paced environment where you can make a significant impact on patient lives.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive psycho-social assessments to understand the patient's needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
2. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as DBT and play-based interventions.
3. Respond promptly and effectively to cases of trauma, providing immediate support, counseling, and referrals as needed.
4. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement comprehensive and personalized care plans.
5. Advocate for patients and their families, assisting them in navigating the healthcare system and accessing necessary resources and services.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
7. Participate in ongoing professional development activities, staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the field.
Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
2. Current and valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license.
3. DMDE, DBT, Play-based intervention experience
4. Must maintain current BLS certification
5. Must possess reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families.
7. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
8. Covid 19 Vaccination or Qualified Exemption (Religious or Medical).
9. TB Screening Record and PPD/QuantiFERON/Chest x-ray as applicable upon hire
10. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
