Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of litigation including depositions, legal research, writing, and trials.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies, manage discovery and conduct depositions.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, reports and other legal documents.
- Represent our clients in court and negotiate with opposing counsel.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide regular status updates.
- Collaborate with our team of attorneys and staff to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to case management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, laws, and regulations related to insurance defense.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a particular focus on construction and general litigation.
- Proven track record of successfully managing all stages of litigation.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes favorably.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
