Our Florida-based insurance defense firm is looking for a talented and motivated Bodily Injury Defense Attorney to join our growing team.
The attorney will be responsible for managing a broad range of bodily injury cases, including those involving automobile accidents, premises liability, and general liability claims.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in litigation and a strong track record of achieving successful outcomes in bodily injury defense.

The attorney will be responsible for managing a broad range of bodily injury cases, including those involving automobile accidents, premises liability, and general liability claims.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in litigation and a strong track record of achieving successful outcomes in bodily injury defense.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a full caseload of bodily injury defense matters, from initial investigation through to resolution, including all phases of discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other necessary litigation documents.
- Represent clients in various court proceedings, including depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
- Develop case strategies that align with client objectives, including exploring and negotiating settlements where appropriate.
- Collaborate with clients, adjusters, experts, and witnesses to build a strong defense.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed of case status, developments, and strategy recommendations.
- Stay updated on relevant Florida laws, court rules, and regulations that impact bodily injury defense and insurance litigation.
- Ensure compliance with all litigation deadlines and court requirements.
- Assist in mentoring and training junior attorneys and support staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be an active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience handling bodily injury defense cases, with a focus on insurance defense.
- Strong understanding of Florida’s personal injury laws, insurance regulations, and procedural rules.
- Proven ability to handle a high volume of cases and maintain quality in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Demonstrated trial experience with a record of favorable results.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
