Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Map the case along with the partners and prepare for litigation
  • Draft pleadings
  • Draft and respond to discovery
  • Motions to compel
  • Motions for summary judgment/adjudication (affirmative and oppositions)
  • Take and defend fact and expert depositions
  • Prepare trial documents; file and oppose MIL’s etc.
  • Second chair trial with partner and eventually first chair
  • MUST HAVE PRE-TRIAL AND/OR TRIAL EXPERIENCE
Necessary Character Traits and Experience:
  • At least 3 years of personal injury litigation experience, no exceptions
  • Federal clerkship experience is a plus
  • Trial and/or Pretrial experience (1st or 2nd chair)
  • Extensive writing experience (Motions for Summary Judgment)
  • Driven with proven history of strong work ethic
  • Proven track record of filing and opposing motions
  • At least 10 depositions taken
  • Must be a self starter and able to work independently
