Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve client objectives efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions, and preparing and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases, providing support and contributing to case strategy.
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates, discuss case developments, and offer legal advice.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in settlement conferences to resolve disputes favorably for clients.
  • Stay current on legal developments, case law, and industry trends relevant to the practice areas.


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active state bar membership and in good standing.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in litigation, with a strong background in civil litigation.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
