Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Defense Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on complex litigation matters, providing critical support in case preparation, document management, and trial assistance.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings to support case strategy
  • Manage and organize case files, exhibits, and evidence for hearings, depositions, and trials
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
  • Analyze medical records, contracts, and other relevant case materials
  • Maintain deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
  • Support attorneys during depositions, mediations, and trial proceedings

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in defense litigation
  • Strong knowledge of civil procedure, court rules, and e-filing systems
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification
