Job Details
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Highly organized
· Familiar with the e-filing system of CM/ECF
· Able to acclimate to the handling of cases in various jurisdictions throughout the United States and overseas
· Prepare various motions for relief, fee applications, proofs of claim, and from time to time, petitions, schedules and financial statements.
· Have a passion for helping people.
· Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
· Individual will need to know how to multi-task, must be organized and needs to be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Individuals who apply should be proficient in calendaring events, filing documents with the court (including ECF filing), drafting, discovery and managing physical and electronic records.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal, performing duties as indicated.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Knowledge of Best Case Software.
· Extensive knowledge of Bankruptcy and Federal law
· ECF Pacer training and experience with filing via ECF
