We are a 45 year-old family business that provides construction services to both public and private sectors. Our main focus is civils - underground utility, infrastructure, and site development. We bring in repeat business while still expanding out clientele around the country. Starting in the Midwest, we have expanded quite a bit over the years. Orlando has been a big focus for us over the last several years and the work is not slowing down!

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Local Superintendent to join our team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Underground Utilities, Sewer, and Superintendent. This position is located in Orlando and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of underground utility projects, including sewer, water, and storm drain construction.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project team and management.
- Ensure that all work is done in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being done to the required standards.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related paperwork.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, including foremen, laborers, and other staff.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are being followed on the job site.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in underground utility construction, including sewer, water, and storm drain projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and codes related to underground utility construction.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think creatively and find solutions to complex issues.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
