We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Maintenance Lead to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. As a Maintenance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes by overseeing and performing various maintenance tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment. You will be responsible for a wide range of equipment including rollers, boilers, pumps, chillers, and machinery. You should be proficient in Die Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Controls, Wiring, Cooling, Motors, Electrical Troubleshooting, Ladder Logic, and Calibration. Welding skills, specifically TIG and MIG, are also required. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of hydraulic systems and have experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to reduce the likelihood of breakdowns and ensure the longevity of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment malfunctions, using technical skills and system knowledge.
  • Maintain and repair various types of equipment including rollers, boilers, pumps, chillers, and machinery.
  • Handle electrical controls, wiring, and motors, and perform electrical troubleshooting as required.
  • Use welding skills (TIG and MIG) for equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Utilize CMMS for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in various maintenance tasks and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with rollers, Die Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Boilers, PUMP, CMMS, Journeyman, Chillers, Hydraulic, Electrical Controls, Wiring, Cooling, Motors, Electrical Troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Welding, Ladder Logic, Calibration, TIG, MIG, and Machinery.
  • Journeyman certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to supervise and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy machinery or equipment.
