Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Mechanic for our 2nd shift in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in maintenance and mechanics, with experience in VFD, PLC, mechanical maintenance, PLC programming, and electro-mechanical systems. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using various tools and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve issues that may impact production efficiency.
• Install, modify, and upgrade machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent on each task.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of VFD, PLC, mechanical maintenance, PLC programming, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and overtime as needed.
