Maintenance Mechanic - Weekend Shift

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Permanent Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This is a weekend shift position in the fast-paced manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a multi-craft professional with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. They will be responsible for implementing and maintaining maintenance plans, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and ensuring the overall quality of our operations. This role requires a technical understanding and a firm commitment to basic safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance plans for all machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Provide support to the production team, offering technical guidance and assistance as needed.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to compliance regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work performed, parts used, and time spent.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop strategies for improving efficiency and reducing costs.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Technician, or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proven experience with equipment maintenance and repair.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• High school diploma or equivalent. A relevant certification or degree is a plus.
