Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to lead a team of skilled maintenance technicians. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently by overseeing the maintenance and repair of all plant machinery and equipment. This position will also be responsible for developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, managing maintenance budgets, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities and schedules of maintenance technicians to ensure all maintenance operations are carried out effectively and efficiently.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical problems with manufacturing machinery and equipment, including conveyors and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Manage maintenance budgets, including the procurement of parts and equipment and the hiring and training of maintenance technicians.
• Collaborate with production managers to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize disruption.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential problems and schedule repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Promote a culture of safety by ensuring all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in the manufacturing industry is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing machinery and equipment, including conveyors and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Proven experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is essential.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of maintenance technicians.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical problems.
• Excellent budget management skills, with the ability to manage maintenance budgets effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production managers and other stakeholders.
• A commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of safety policies and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
• A degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.
