Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator or equivalent role in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in operating SACMA heading machines and other related equipment is a large plus!
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues
• Experience using calipers, micrometers and gauges
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively
• Basic computer skills to document production data and perform simple calculations
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to adhere to them at all times
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities:

• As a Cold Header Operator, you will be responsible for operating sacma heading machines to produce high-quality parts for our customers
• Set up and operate SACMA heading machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
• Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth and efficient production
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime
• Inspect finished parts for quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain product standards
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and identify areas for improvement
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality
• Document production data and maintain records of machine performance and maintenance activities
