Management Company Controller

Our client is a Middle Market Private Equity Firm located in Boston with over $30b of equity capital. They have invested in some of the top technology and health care companies across the United States.

• Responsible for management company activities, including accounting close, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, general accounting, and tax filing support
• Supervise reconciliations of intercompany accounts and ensure timely recharges of expenses between management company affiliates and the firm's investment Funds
• Preparation of the annual budget for the Americas entities, and delivery of quarterly management reporting, variance analysis, and reforecasting as needed
• Manage operating costs and, along with Fund Accounting and Legal, oversee complex expense allocations between the management company and the firm's investment Funds

Must Haves/Nice to Have:

• Degree in accounting, CPA required
• 8+ years of accounting experience
• Exposure to public accounting and management company accounting with an asset management firm is required
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Detailed oriented and team player
