We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Senior Design Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks. The candidate must have a proven track record of designing and developing complex mechanical systems for manufacturing processes. The role requires someone who can work independently and also as part of a team, and is able to deliver results within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems using SolidWorks software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Create 3D models, assembly drawings, and detailed engineering drawings
• Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to team members
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001/AS9100 standards and regulations
• Continuously improve design processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure designs are optimized for production
• Provide technical support to production teams as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks software
• Experience with CNC programming and CAM software
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
• Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 standards and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines
