Our organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position with excellent growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a key player in ensuring our manufacturing process is efficient, effective, and adheres to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for identifying nonconformances, implementing Six Sigma methodologies, driving process improvement, and promoting lean manufacturing principles. This role will also involve implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), conducting root cause analysis, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement and monitor quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications.
2. Perform root cause analysis for manufacturing process nonconformances and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
3. Apply Six Sigma methodologies and lean manufacturing principles to enhance manufacturing precision, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing processes, striving for efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality.
5. Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement process improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
6. Conduct regular audits of the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to organization and industry quality standards.
7. Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams, and lead quality problem-solving efforts.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
9. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations for improvements and cost reductions.
10. Train and guide production staff on new processes and modifications to existing processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Engineer role or similar.
3. Proven experience with nonconformances, Six Sigma, process improvement, lean manufacturing, manufacturing processes, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and root cause analysis.
4. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and quality control systems.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
7. Proficient in using statistical analysis software and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
8. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) will be a plus.
9. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
