Position Description:
We are currently searching for a Business Development Market Manager to help grow one of our North America teams. This person is responsible for developing and managing the segment product strategy and execution including market analysis, sales support, and contributing substantially to product management with product managers and engineering.


Your key responsibilities include:

  • Ecosystem understanding (key figures, trends, structure, value chain, authorities and regulation, opinion leaders, key players)
  • Business Intelligence information:
  • Competitor and market trend analysis from his / her products perspective (incl. industry standards)
  • Supports competitor and market trend analysis, Application and Segment perspective and keeping up to date customer reference information
  • Assist the Segment head to elaborate the marketing strategy and the market attack plan for the division
  • Defining the expectations of the market and clients and related value proposal for each business case
  • Actively contributes to Product roadmaps and strategies with the product managers including related service offering
  • Proposes offering partnerships
  • Participate to the creation of key product marketing messages, material and argumentation with Marketing and P&T
  • Internal product launches with Sales and other functions with related trainings with product managers
  • Supports Market Segments in customer solution creation, key customer meetings and tender specification work.



We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; higher level degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably with an international company
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong interest in and good understanding of business, needs
  • Strategic mind
  • Experience in business and product marketing management in B-to-B market
  • Analytical mindset, ability to conceptual thinking and seeing the big picture with complex issues
  • Excellent networking and influencing skills
  • Management skills of product marketing, application and/or product management
  • Client oriented, ability to interact with key accounts at various levels
  • Ability to work with product managers and project managers to make product roadmaps match market requirements
  • Competitive mind, spirit or conquest
  • Proactive approach to work
