Matrimonial Litigator

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Matrimonial Litigator to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
As a Matrimonial Litigator, you will be responsible for:

1. Representing clients in all aspects of matrimonial and family law litigation, including divorce, property division, child custody, visitation rights, spousal support, and child support.

2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, separation agreements, and other relevant legal documents.

3. Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis to support case preparation and court proceedings.

4. Providing sound legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and options.

5. Managing the entire litigation process, from initiation to resolution, while maintaining high standards of professionalism and client service.

6. Collaborating with a team of legal professionals, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of cases.

7. Staying abreast of developments in matrimonial and family law, and participating in ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

2. Admission to the New York State Bar.

3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in matrimonial and family law litigation.

4. Proven track record of successfully representing clients in divorce and other family law matters.

5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in clear, understandable terms.

6. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.

7. Excellent research and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

8. Ability to manage a high caseload and work under pressure, while maintaining professionalism and composure.

9. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

10. High ethical standards and integrity in professional conduct.
