We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Mechanic - Service Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of machinery and equipment used in agriculture, construction, and diesel industries. This is a permanent position with excellent growth opportunities for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in machinery and equipment.
2. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks according to work orders and manufacturer specifications.
3. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
4. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely repairs and minimize equipment downtime.
5. Keep accurate records of all repairs, services, and maintenance performed.
6. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving technical issues.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
8. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
9. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
10. Collaborate with other departments to improve overall equipment performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
4. Extensive knowledge and experience in agriculture, diesel, construction, and machinery repair.
5. Familiarity with CNH (Case New Holland) equipment is highly desirable.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
8. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
9. Proficient in using computerized diagnostic tools and software.
10. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
