Summary
Design new product line, manage research and development, and work with engineering team to develop final product for production.

Responsibilities
Creates new mechanical designs for conveyor systems using both solidworks 3d and autocad.
Create layout drawings of conveyor systems and automated equipment for manufacturing and quotation. Utilizes autocad and solidworks to create 3d models and assembly instructions.
Convert concept designs into working prototypes and production equipment.
Design simple and complex equipment based on needs
Create material list required for equipment. Interface with company MES system to input material requirements, BOM's, etc.
Inspect and Oversee construction and manufacture of components and systems with emphasis on aesthetics, form and function.
Manage project schedule through various phases of engineering, purchasing, production, and installation.
Manage manpower requirements on projects to ensure the project is on time and within budget.
