Mechanical Designer

Based in the Lakeville area, we are design and build fabricator that supports a variety of customers and industries. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to join our team.

If you have at least 2 years of Mechanical Design experience and are proficient with SolidWorks please apply below.

• Layout and design work (2D and 3D) of customized machinery and equipment
• Use SolidWorks to create customized designs to meet customer requests
• Manage design projects from concept to completion phase
• Work cross functionally with sales and marketing teams, product quality, and manufacturing personnel to ensure all customer needs are met
• Responsible for creating and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM's)
• Perform all duties related to ECN process
• Use of GD&T to conduct product functionality and analysis

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related design experience - will consider education and training paired with work experience
• AAS or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Design is preferred
• Proficient with SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software
• Experience designing machinery or other mechanical components - gears, fixtures, bearings, etc.
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal
