Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer needed in Orlando.
We provide MEP and structural services. Our mission is to collaborate with our clients to create the best possible design for every situation. A successful project requires careful, detailed attention to all of the parameters involved and accuracy in the preparation of construction documents.
Qualifications:
▪ Develops typical details, specifications, and drawing standards including development of Revit standards in coordination with the team.
▪ Maintains knowledge of industry trends and technology updates and recommends changes in approach and client services, as appropriate.
▪ Provides design inputs and reviews of team members’ projects to verify conformity to quality assurance, quality control, and best practice standards.
▪ Provides technical support and project communications to team, as required.
▪ Participates in team meetings to help resolve project issues, coordination with other disciplines, schedule adherence, technical issues.
▪ BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural engineering
▪ Licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in FL, or ability to attain reciprocity
▪ 7-10+ years’ of mechanical engineer & design experience. HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Systems, Boilers, Chillers, CH systems
▪ Project experience in the design of Mechanical/HVAC systems for hi-rises, commercial, educational, healthcare, institutional, municipal, and mixed-use projects
▪ Software Proficiency with AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Autodesk, energy/load simulation, and Microsoft Office
▪ Ability to manage multiple projects while overseeing a team and design staff
▪ Must have good people skills, including strong oral & written communications skills
