We are a HVAC and plumbing design & manufacturing company based in North Carolina. We partner with Industrial and Commercial clients and help them out with their needs. Our team is expanding and we are looking to add a Mechanical Engineer with a strong HVAC background to our team.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, HVAC, Trace 700, and plumbing. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems for construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Conduct site visits to assess the feasibility and suitability of proposed mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that mechanical designs are integrated seamlessly into the overall project plan.
• Prepare detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates for mechanical systems.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring that they meet all relevant codes and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with mechanical systems during construction or after completion.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in mechanical engineering and incorporate new technologies and techniques into project designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, HVAC, Trace 700, and plumbing.
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations related to mechanical systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
