We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our construction team. As a Permanent Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and equipment for various construction projects. You will work closely with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure that all mechanical systems are installed and functioning properly. This is a permanent position, and the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for construction projects
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all mechanical systems are installed and functioning properly
• Conduct site visits to assess mechanical systems and equipment
• Create technical drawings and specifications for mechanical systems and equipment
• Manage and oversee the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment
• Ensure that all mechanical systems and equipment meet industry standards and regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during construction projects
• Provide technical support and guidance to other members of the construction team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
• Experience with HVAC systems and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) design
• Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
