Responsibilities

• Generate comprehensive estimates for projects across various industries, with costs ranging from $10k to $50M+.
• Evaluate direct and indirect costs, and provide detailed clarifications and qualifications within estimates.
• Maintain and establish relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with other departments to create a complete and competitive proposal.
• Provide backup data for estimates during analysis and review phases.
• Prioritize, problem-solve, and multitask effectively to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical estimating or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
• Previous experience with a general contractor is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in prioritizing, problem-solving, multitasking, and organizing.
