Your scope of responsibility will include assisting engineers in the technical development and coordination of harness and cable assembly manufacturing drawings, harness parts lists, wire connection lists, engineering change support, and/or schematic capture of wiring diagrams.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Harness Design Engineer to join our Engineering team. This is a permanent position that requires a candidate with experience in CREO, harness and cable assembly drawings, manufacturing drawings, and satellite spacecraft design. The successful candidate will work on exciting projects that contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology in the aerospace and defense industry.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical harnesses for satellite spacecraft and other aerospace and defense projects
- Create and modify harness assembly drawings, cable assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings using CREO
- Work closely with electrical engineers to ensure proper electrical interconnects are made
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure that the harnesses are manufactured to the highest quality standards
- Conduct testing and analysis of harnesses to ensure that they meet all required specifications
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to other team members
- Contribute to the development of new products and technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical harness design for aerospace and defense projects
- Proficiency in CREO, harness assembly drawings, cable assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings
- Experience with electrical interconnects and satellite spacecraft design
- Strong understanding of spacecraft design and the aerospace and defense industry
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
