We are seeking a Permanent Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery. You will work closely with our team of engineers and production staff to ensure that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve manufacturing processes
• Operate and maintain electro-mechanical systems, including robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a mechanical technician in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems, robotics, and PLCs
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols
