We work as part of a care team to improve the execution of quality requirements, increase throughput, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall patient experience. Our Medical Assistants provide care to designated patients and care coordination across the continuum.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and has a strong desire to work in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in patient care activities, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications as directed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and other relevant information.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures, such as blood draws and urinalysis, and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits, and ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Provide patient education and counseling on a variety of health-related topics, including disease prevention, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, including stocking supplies, cleaning exam rooms, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other clinical projects as directed by the physician or practice manager.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant, registered medical assistant, or equivalent certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as basic laboratory procedures and techniques.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other clinical software applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
