We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and dedicated Permanent Territory Manager to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all sales activities within the assigned territory. This includes developing new customer relationships, improving existing customer relationships, implementing sales strategies, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge. The candidate will be primarily involved in B2B sales in the medical device industry. This position requires a "hunter" mentality, with a focus on new business development rather than account management.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the territory to meet company objectives and sales targets.
2. Identify and target potential customers in the medical device industry to expand market share.
3. Conduct cold calls and face-to-face meetings to present our product portfolio, demonstrating how our medical devices can meet the potential customer's needs.
4. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing suitable solutions.
5. Provide regular sales forecasts and progress reports to senior management, demonstrating your ability to meet sales goals.
6. Stay current with the latest developments in the medical device industry and our product offerings to provide effective sales presentations and responses to customer inquiries.
7. Address customer issues and concerns in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a positive company image.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of outside, B2B, hunting and cold-calling experience
2. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
3. Strong 'hunter' mentality, with a focus on new business development rather than account management.
4. Experience in B2B and outside sales, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
5. Proficiency in cold calling, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively, with the flexibility to travel as needed.
7. Strong knowledge of the medical device industry and product offerings, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products.
8. High level of motivation, energy, and a customer-focused mindset.
