Our client (a small health system north of Pittsburgh) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Technologist to join their dynamic team in the medical industry. As a Permanent Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures, analyzing and interpreting results, and maintaining accurate records of all laboratory activities. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures in accordance with established protocols and procedures
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results to provide accurate diagnoses to physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities, including test results, quality control data, and instrument maintenance logs
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with laboratory equipment and procedures
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control protocols and procedures
- Proficiency in the use of laboratory equipment and computer systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
