Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of lean six sigma principles, ERP/MRP systems, cost center management, KPI tracking, regulatory reporting, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
  • Utilize lean six sigma methodologies to identify and implement process improvements, driving continuous improvement throughout the plant.
  • Oversee the implementation and utilization of ERP/MRP systems to streamline production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Manage and control the plant's cost center, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure plant performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance skills and improve performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and teamwork within the plant.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in lean six sigma methodologies, with a proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in utilizing ERP/MRP systems for production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Experience managing a cost center and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to track and analyze KPIs to measure performance and drive improvements.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly ISO 9001 standards, and experience in preparing and submitting regulatory reports.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical and effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
