We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Operations Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This individual will play a key role in managing and improving our production operations to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in problem-solving, team management, and possess a keen eye for detail. This exciting role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's performance and growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing unit, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
2. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
3. Monitor operational performance and troubleshoot production issues to ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing activities.
4. Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) by tracking expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
5. Develop and maintain a safe work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures.
6. Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational activities with business objectives.
8. Conduct performance reviews, workforce planning, and identify training needs to enhance team productivity.
9. Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring sufficient stock levels and timely procurement of materials.
10. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and uphold the company's standards of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in managing P&L, cost control, and budget development.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong decision-making capability.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Proficient in MS Office Suite and manufacturing management software.
8. Knowledge of industry safety and compliance regulations.
9. Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrating flexibility to meet shifting demands.
10. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage large-scale projects from conception to completion.
11. Lean Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.
