Job Details
- Permanent position
- No weekends required
- Will provide training in the medical industry
Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor infusion therapies to patients in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform assessments, including vital signs, and document patient progress accurately
- Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care techniques
- Ensure the safe handling and administration of medications and infusion equipment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Monitor and respond to changes in patients' conditions and report any concerns to the healthcare team
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during their infusion therapy sessions
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills
Qualifications:
- Valid and current registered nurse (RN) license
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Willingness to learn and undergo training in the medical industry
