Qualifications – Needed
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in roofing, building materials, or construction supply distribution
- Proven ability to obtain and retain new customers in a competitive market
- Strong skills in pricing, quoting, and negotiating with customers
- Ability to effectively use PC-based software and CRM tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Actively prospect and acquire new business within assigned territory
- Manage an active call-back list and follow up on referrals from customers
- Achieve sales budgets, GP% goals, and new account targets
- Provide accurate pricing quotes and timely follow-up communications
- Utilize CRM and related software for account management and sales tracking
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and order fulfillment
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
