Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Owner Representative/Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various construction projects, with a specific focus on steel and industrial construction within the oil & gas industry, power and energy systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
2. Owner Representation: Serve as the primary point of contact for project owners, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring their objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure effective communication and coordination of project activities.
4. Budget and Cost Management: Develop and monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize project profitability.
5. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that construction activities meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards.
7. Contract Negotiation: Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, building codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
9. Progress Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and proposed solutions.
10. Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders, including owners, government agencies, and community representatives, to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role as an Owner Representative or Project Manager in the construction industry.
2. Strong background in steel construction, industrial construction, and experience within the oil & gas industry, power and energy systems.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously, from concept to completion.
4. In-depth knowledge of construction project management principles, practices, and methodologies.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
6. Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution.
7. Proficient in project management software and tools, with the ability to effectively utilize technology to streamline project workflows and improve efficiency.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and deliver projects within established financial parameters.
9. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards within the construction industry.
10. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
