Our organization is on the hunt for a dynamic and innovative Permanent Packaging Designer to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality packaging designs that will captivate our customers and enhance our brand image. This role will involve working closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure our packaging designs align with our marketing strategies and sales objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in ArtiosCAD, Kongsberg table, structural design, drafting, and engineering.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop innovative and eye-catching packaging designs that align with our brand image and marketing strategies.
2. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand product specifications and create packaging designs that enhance product visibility and appeal.
3. Utilize ArtiosCAD to create precise and detailed packaging designs.
4. Leverage the Kongsberg table for cutting and creasing operations.
5. Apply principles of structural design to ensure packaging is sturdy, functional, and cost-effective.
6. Use drafting skills to create comprehensive blueprints and specifications for each packaging design.
7. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure packaging designs are feasible and can be effectively produced.
8. Continually research and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in packaging design and production.
9. Participate in product launches and marketing campaigns to ensure packaging designs are effectively showcased.
10. Use feedback from the sales team to make necessary adjustments to packaging designs.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging design, preferably within the sales industry.
3. Proficiency in ArtiosCAD.
4. Experience with Kongsberg table.
5. Strong knowledge of structural design principles.
6. Excellent drafting skills.
7. Background in engineering, with a solid understanding of production processes and constraints.
8. Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in packaging design.
12. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions.
13. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
