We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Packaging Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in innovative packaging solutions for a wide range of products. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing packaging designs that are cost-effective and meet all relevant standards and regulations. This position requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop innovative packaging solutions using 3D modeling software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD.
2. Use software to create and modify packaging structures to meet product specifications and requirements.
3. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure packaging designs are feasible and can be efficiently produced.
4. Conduct packaging tests to evaluate the performance and durability of new designs.
5. Work closely with suppliers to source packaging materials that meet quality, cost, and sustainability objectives.
6. Use Adobe Creative Suite to create packaging prototypes and visualizations.
7. Continually monitor industry trends and advancements in packaging technology to identify opportunities for innovation.
8. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance, to ensure packaging aligns with brand guidelines and product specifications.
10. Ensure all packaging designs comply with industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Experience in a packaging engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in creating packaging prototypes and visualizations.
- Extensive knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and equipment.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards relating to packaging.
