  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support the defense team in case preparation.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit a variety of legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate and manage case files, ensuring all relevant information and documents are readily accessible and organized.
  • Liaise with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other legal professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal arguments, applications, declarations, and motions.
  • Review and monitor new and updated laws and regulations, ensuring the firm is up-to-date with all relevant legal developments.
  • Participate in client meetings and legal proceedings, taking comprehensive notes when necessary.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all sensitive information, upholding the firm's commitment to client privacy.


  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal in a defense firm, preferably insurance defense.
  • A Paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience drafting, proofreading, and editing a wide range of legal documents.
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and principles.
  • Proficiency in using legal research software and other related tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of the Engineering industry will be considered as a strong advantage.
