Paralegal - Personal Injury

We represent people who have been seriously injured due to the negligence of a corporation, business, governmental entity or individual with insurance. We specialize in a wide array of injury cases with an emphasis on brain, spine and catastrophic injuries. We also represent individuals in a range of employment matters including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation and more.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. As a Personal Injury Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of personal injury cases, from inception to resolution. You will work closely with senior attorneys to provide exceptional legal representation to our clients. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

The Legal Assistant/paralegal is responsible for a full range of matters by providing assistance to the Firm’s attorneys

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities
• Organize and maintain case files, including filing documents
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances
• Noticing and objecting to depositions
• Calendaring depositions, hearing dates and all deadlines (pleadings, motions, discovery, etc.)
• Scheduling court reporters, and requesting transcripts
• Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
• Use case management software to keep cases organized and updated.

Experience: 2+ years (Preferred)
Bilingual Spanish preferred
