Partnerships & Affiliate Marketing Lead, Direct-to-Consumer
Los Angeles or NYC (hybrid) (2-4x per week)

Overview/Objective A leading international sports league is seeking an experienced Marketing Lead to work across partnerships/affiliate programs and product marketing to develop and execute acquisition, retention, and engagement campaigns across partnerships, affiliate, and CTV. They will work across the organization with key internal stakeholders, external agencies, and partners to own the campaign development and lead the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns.

This hybrid partnerships/affiliate and product marketing role requires an ability to build strategies that effectively market the LEAGUE's digital products and will work cross-departmentally with most internal teams, including but not limited to Product, Creative, Business Development, Business Strategy, Sponsorships & Legal.

  • Work with the Sr Product Marketing Manager, DTC to define marketing strategy and (ATL & BTL) promotional opportunities across various partnerships and sponsors that will drive retention and acquisition.
  • Own multiple priorities from product ideation to go-to-market strategy to drive acquisition and retention within CTV partners (Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV etc).
  • Manage the company’s affiliate programs through all phases, including brainstorming, launch, maintaining, trafficking, marketing, reporting, optimization, and analysis.
  • Partner closely with the product team to develop a streamlined user flow that includes marketing assets/messaging for product integrations around partnerships.
  • Generate top of funnel ideas to drive both awareness and excitement, and to incent app downloads and signups across desktop, mobile, and CTV platforms.
  • Work closely with the product, business development, affiliate, and analytics teams on continuous reporting initiatives to better inform decisions and priorities.
  • Develop forward-thinking initiatives to support annual business planning and Marketing goal-setting process.

Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS from an accredited undergraduate university with a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of marketing experience at a large sports, streaming/DTC or media company that includes partnerships/affiliate marketing, product marketing, management of creative campaigns, and performance marketing.
  • Excellent communicator and strategic thinker who can support and influence decision-making.
  • Data driven, detail-oriented individual who can execute marketing campaigns from start to finish with a hands-on approach.
  • Self-starter who can work effectively in a large matrixed organization.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet analysis (e.g., Excel), presentation creation (e.g., PowerPoint), as well as familiarity with analytics and marketing tools (e.g. Ascend, Adobe Analytics, Google Ad Products, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of advertising and media practices, advertising measurement, retargeting, and industry guidelines.
  • Understanding of quantitative marketing concepts including CPA, CPM, CAC, LTV, ARPU, churn, conversion rates.
  • Passion for sports is a plus.
