The primary responsibility of this position is to lead with processing the company's payrolls accurately and timely utilizing applicable systems/applications and ensuring sufficient controls are in place and performed. This individual works with some degree of supervision, with the goal to work more independently, to perform a variety of payroll, human resources or systems related assignments requiring some level of knowledge and experience in payroll and human resources theory and practices, policies, regulations and requirements and the systems that support them. This individual effectively communicates payroll situations to leadership partners and is detail oriented with the ability to see the big picture, possesses technical skills with the ability to solve system challenges. This individual has a high degree of respect for the confidentially and sensitivity of payroll and HR data and is a team player with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:
If you are a highly motivated professional with a passion for excellence and a strong background in payroll management, we invite you to apply.
- Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll operations for over 5000 employees across multiple states.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
- Perform payroll processing duties as necessary.
- Handle wage garnishments, leave of absences, and worker compensation claims accurately and timely.
- Manage and prepare reports for upper management, finance department, and others.
- Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and Accounting teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a large corporate setting.
- Proven experience with payroll processing, time management, Oracle HCM, ADP, and processing for over 5000 employees.
- Extensive knowledge of wage garnishments, multi-state, and payroll taxes.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
