Pediatric Hospitalist - Locums

Leading Hospital seeking a skilled and experienced Locums Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. This is a challenging and rewarding position.

Shifts range from 8 - 24 hours depending on the setting.

• Medical Subspecialty Support on Peds General Floor - this is a seasonal need when census spikes in colder months - usually sept - feb
• PICU Hospitalist
• Hem/Onc Unit

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other hospital programs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Pediatrics
• MD or DO
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
