We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric NP to join our dynamic Outpatient Community Health team. This permanent position offers the chance to work in a vibrant, patient-focused environment providing top-tier care to children in our community. The role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, primary healthcare to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities:
As a Pediatric NP in our Outpatient Community Health team, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Providing comprehensive pediatric primary care, including well-child exams, acute care, and chronic disease management.
2. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans tailored to the unique needs of each child.
3. Educating and supporting families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their child's health.
4. Participating in community outreach programs to promote pediatric health and wellness.
5. Coordinating with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
6. Documenting all patient interactions and interventions in the electronic health record system in a timely and accurate manner.
7. Staying abreast of the latest developments in pediatric healthcare and applying this knowledge to improve patient care.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A current, unrestricted license as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pediatric NP, preferably in an outpatient or community health setting.
3. A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution.
4. Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care (PNP-PC) from a recognized certifying body.
5. A proven track record of providing high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and team members.
7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
8. Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
9. A commitment to continuing education and professional development.
