Job Details
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Conducting legal research and analysis on various issues
- Taking depositions of clients, defendants, expert witnesses
- Participating in arbitrations, mediations, and trials
- Preparing legal documents like pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Representing clients in court hearings and proceedings
- Negotiating settlements and drafting settlement agreements
- Assisting with trial preparation and strategy
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law
- Admission to the Illinois State Bar
- Experience in court ordered mandatory arbitration and alternative dispute mediation
- Experience in AAA underinsured cases
- Experience with having a caseload of prelitigation cases and trials at the same time
