We are on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. This is an incredible opportunity for a talented professional who has a proven track record in handling various personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, auto accidents, bicycle accidents, truck accidents, and motorcycle accidents. The ideal candidate should also have experience in Medical Malpractice and Plaintiff. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury cases.
  • Work on a variety of personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents, auto accidents, bicycle accidents, truck accidents, and motorcycle accidents.
  • Conduct research, interviews, and meet with clients and witnesses to gather evidence for cases.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
  • Negotiate settlements for legal disputes, including medical malpractice cases.
  • Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Present and summarize cases to judges and juries.
  • Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
  • Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
  • Proven track record in handling various personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents, auto accidents, bicycle accidents, truck accidents, and motorcycle accidents.
  • Experience in Plaintiff side is a must.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles.
  • Ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy.
  • Must be willing to take on challenging cases and work under pressure.
