Personal Injury Paralegal

Our client is an exciting and growing plaintiff personal injury law firm in the Financial District. With 20 attorneys and 50 support staff members, they are able to handle a wide variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, Labor Law, workers' compensation, product liability, and more. As a family-run legal practice, their lawyers are committed to guiding accident victims and their families through the complex litigation process to obtain full compensation after a serious or fatal accident. They are trial attorneys.

The duties of the position focus primarily on plaintiff personal injury cases on behalf of injured individuals including typing letters, communicating with clients and insurance companies, ordering and indexing medical records, assisting with discovery and pleadings, filing, and other administrative duties including answering phones.

Requirements
At least 3 years in a law firm handling plaintiff personal injury cases
Spanish speaking
Experienced paralegal comfortable evaluating medical summaries and drafting discoveries
Strong communication skills
Cautious and methodical in decision making
Strong customer services skill
Someone who is decisive in processes and policies
Excelling problem-solving skills and error resolutions
Look history of consistent employment
Able to handle intake calls
Excel in a fast-paced environment
