We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Phlebotomy Tech to join our team in the medical industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in phlebotomy and be certified in BLS. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing phlebotomy services to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to obtain blood specimens for testing
• Label and process specimens for laboratory testing
• Collect and document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Assist in training and mentoring new phlebotomy staff
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in phlebotomy
• BLS certification required
• Experience as a Phlebotomy Service Tech preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
