🏥 Physical Therapist – Key Responsibilities
Deliver High-Quality Patient Care
Conduct thorough assessments, interpret evaluations and test results, and collaborate with physicians to develop personalized treatment plans.
Guide Patients Through Recovery
Administer manual therapy and therapeutic exercises to help patients achieve their goals. Support their use of assistive devices like crutches, canes, and walkers.
Lead Functional Rehabilitation
Instruct and motivate patients in performing non-manual exercises, mobility training, and daily living activities to restore independence and confidence.
Administer Advanced Therapies
Provide treatments such as massage, traction, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and hot/cold therapy. Supervise therapy aides and assistants to ensure consistent care delivery.
Track and Optimize Progress
Monitor patient outcomes, document progress in the EHR system, and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize recovery.
Support Long-Term Wellness
Design individualized home exercise programs to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
Uphold Safety and Compliance
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in an outpatient musculoskeletal setting is a plus. Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset are essential.
