Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Contract Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Room (ER) team. This is a LOCUMS position, and we are open to assisting the right candidate with licensing. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical field, specifically as a Physician Assistant, ER Physician Assistant, or ER Locums Doctor.

Responsibilities:

As a Contract Physician Assistant in our ER department, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing immediate medical attention to patients in the emergency room, assessing their condition, and determining their immediate medical needs.
2. Assisting ER physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, including performing minor surgical procedures.
3. Documenting all patient information accurately and completely in the patient's medical records.
4. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
5. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing necessary follow-up care.
6. Educating patients and their families on their condition, treatment options, and preventative measures.
7. Staying updated on the latest medical advancements, research, and trends in emergency medicine.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Contract Physician Assistant- ER LOCUMS position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A valid Physician Assistant license. We are willing to assist the right candidate with licensing.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, ER Physician Assistant, or ER Locums Doctor.
3. Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment and make quick, accurate decisions.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner.
5. Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records.
8. A strong commitment to patient care and an understanding of patient confidentiality laws and regulations.
9. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
