Job Details

What You Will Be Doing

Review patient’s history and perform physical examinations
Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care
Recommend and order lab tests, including X-rays of the joints
Diagnose and treat disorders of the musculoskeletal and immune systems
Prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs and other medications
Formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans
Refer patients to occupational or physical therapy as required

Skills You Need

Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent
Fellowship in Rheumatology
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Rheumatology
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office
